The School of Public Affairs (SPA) at American University (AU) is preparing for the 2018-2019 admission season for the PhD in Public Administration and Policy, as well as the award of the prestigious Charles H. Levine Doctoral Fellowship.
SPA’s Ph.D. Program in the Department of Public Administration and Policy is a full-time, cohort-based degree that prepares students for careers in research and teaching in two tracks: public administration and public policy. Each PhD student receives full tuition reimbursement (approximate value of $85,000 based on 54 credit hours of coursework), a stipend of $22,000 per year, and a conference travel fund of $1,000 annually.
We are also especially pleased to announce the Charles H. Levine Doctoral Research Fellowship in the School of Public Affairs at American University. This $3,000 research fellowship from the Charles H. Levine Fund will be given to one incoming PhD student entering the program in the Fall of 2019.
