ISTR 2018 - 2019 Membership Now Open!

We invite you to join / renew your membership for 2018 & 2019.  As a scholarly research society, we focus on building a global scholarly community with an international and comparative focus on civil society, philanthropy and the non-profit sector. Your membership in ISTR is the best way to be part of this community: to keep in touch, stay informed, identify and meet those with similar interests, ensure your personal and intellectual growth, increase your knowledge and have your work disseminated to a worldwide audience. This year we are offering a new membership category for retirees. We are also offering for each membership category an option to auto-renew your membership dues.

This year we will hold the 13th International Conference in collaboration with Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam on their campus in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, from July 10 – 13, 2018.   Subscribe to our blog to keep up to date on the latest conference news and participate in the discussion.

The year ahead also includes the fourth PhD Seminar (July 8-10, 2018), awards for the Best Article in Voluntas and Dissertation by an Emerging Scholar, and opportunities to publish in Voluntas, the Nonprofit and Civil Society Studies Book Series, and Conference Working Papers Series.

In addition to the activity mentioned above, ISTR members receive Voluntas, our internationally renowned and ISI ranked journal, Inside ISTR, our online newsletter, and members-only access to our online community of third sector researchers.

Your continued membership is critical to the Society’s commitment to the professional development of our members!
