About the Center:
Through research, experiment, and advocacy activities, ICS aims to develop the strategy of China civil society, support the development of NGOS, facilitate civil society’s communication and cooperation with both the government and the business community, and thus, help to create a harmonious and just society.

Education Initiatives:
ICS, through its own efforts and those of its partners, hopes to facilitate the creation of a pluralistic and open civil society that puts people first and features voluntary participation and multilateral cooperation.
Research Initiatives:
We strongly believe in the power of innovation, the fountain of which is ceaseless learning, and are ready to shoulder related risks. The primary principles of ICS are inclusiveness, integrity, and keeping our roots planted firmly in the public. We embrace the idea that the cornerstones of a harmonious society are citizen participation and social justice.
