The focus of the Siena School of Advanced Training for the Third Sector is at directors, managers, volunteers and operators in the Third Sector. They offer advanced training, grounded in the knowledge and skills specific to the Third Sector and social enterprise, not only in the field of social professions, but also in all other professions linked to the Third Sector, to consortiums, and to the for-profit and non-profit fields. The school continually monitors instructional offerings and identifies both current and future needs of the Third Sector in terms of competencies and professional profiles.
They provide a forum for the Third Sector, Public Administration, the academic/scientific community, and the business world to meet and reflect together on shared projects, goals, and proposals.
Thanks to the Foundation ForTeS, Italy has an enriched Third Sector panorama, providing a unique opportunity to build bridges among people, organizations and communities.

Their direction includes playing an increasingly dynamic role in the non-profit field, due to rapidly changing societies, as the third sector has significantly gained importance in many countries.

Monte dei Paschi di Siena FoundationThe Monte dei Paschi Foundation was established in 1995 when the banking activities of the public-law credit institution were transferred to Monte dei Paschi Bank. The strong values and principles of the Foundation direct its pursuit of sustainable development; these principles are stated in the Ethics and Quality Policy.
Provincial Administration of SienaThe Provincial Administration of Siena has activated a system of government that aims to preserve and develop values, including solidarity, human dignity, sustainability, integration, and non-profit culture, as such values represent instruments that may serve to open new possibilities for better development. Ethical governance for the Province of Siena is the decisive theme for territorial development and is an essential parameter of every policy choice.
