|Research on Volunteering Listserv|
ISTR is pleased to announce the formation of a new affinity group for those with an interest in research on volunteering. The affinity group is open and free for anyone to join who is interested in networking with a community of academics and practitioners advancing the field of research on volunteering. The affinity group will communicate via email listserve, and will facilitate the exchange of information relating to research on volunteering in all of its forms; announcements related to conferences, events, calls for papers; and other opportunities that may be of interest to members of the group.
To subscribe to the Research on Volunteering Listserv
Please send a one-line, no subject, e-mail message to: email@example.com. The one line message should say: subscribe ISTR-L YourFirstname YourLastname. The system will obtain the e-mail address from the e-mail header.
Sending a message to the entire Listserv is as simple as sending an email message to any person. All that you need to do is address an ordinary email message to firstname.lastname@example.org and it will be delivered to everyone currently subscribed to the list.
About the Listserv
Please note that the listserv is moderated; if you intend to send a reply directly to someone who wrote an earlier message to the list, you need to "Send" your answer addressed directly to that individual's username and address. If you just hit reply, your message will be broadcast to the entire list.
The unsubscribe from the Listserv, please send an email with the subject "SIGNOFF Research on Volunteering" to email@example.com
