|Benefits of ISTR Membership|
ISTR is a network of scholars, researchers, and practitioners from more than 85 countries around the globe working on civil society, philanthropy and the nonprofit sector.
PUBLICATIONS: Our interdisciplinary academic journal is Voluntas, the International Journal of Voluntary and Non-Profit Organizations. Articles introduce new topics and reviews for discussion, present theoretical and empirical work, and provide critical commentary on research and policy. A Book Reviews Section provides reviews of recent publications. All members receive Voluntas on-line and have the option of also selecting to receive a printed copy of the journal.
Our quarterly newsletter, Inside ISTR, focuses on Third Sector developments, activities, research in progress and recent publications. Members can log-in to the Members Only section of the website and read the latest issue.
ISTR's biennial conferences present a unique opportunity for members to exchange ideas and research findings about Third Sector, learn about the latest developments from around the world and, most importantly, to meet their colleagues.
