Philanthropy today? Philanthropy tomorrow? Seminar

The next two events in our ESRC Philanthropy to the rescue? seminar series will take place next month, on the 12th and 13th of October in St Andrews. 

The focus will be on contemporary philanthropy and the opportunities and challenges ahead. On the 12th, we will explore foundations, international insights and the relationship between philanthropy and universities; on the 13th, collaborative, engaged and community philanthropy are the theme of the day. Speakers include: 

12th October

·         Diana Leat, Visiting Professor, Cass Business School and the Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies

·         Robert Fleming, Commissioner, Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Commission for Philanthropy
