VOLUNTAS
Our interdisciplinary academic journal is Voluntas, the International Journal of Voluntary and Non-Profit Organizations. Articles introduce new topics and reviews for discussion, present theoretical and empirical work, and provide critical commentary on research and policy. A Book Reviews Section provides reviews of recent publications. Beginning in 2008, all members receive Voluntas on-line and have the option of also selecting to receive a printed copy of the journal.
INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES
ISTRs biennial conferences present a unique opportunity for members to exchange ideas and research findings about Third Sector, learn about the latest developments from around the world and, most importantly, to meet their colleagues.
The eighth biennial Conference will be held in Barcelona, Spain, on July 9-12, 2008.
REGIONAL NETWORKS
Provide a meeting place for researchers in specific regions for the world to meet and discuss topics and issues relevant to their region.
INSIDE ISTR
The quarterly newsletter about Third Sector developments, activities, research in progress and recent publications. Members can log-in to the Members Only section of the website and read the latest issue.
MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY
On-line for members only, the directory provides member contact information, and includes research interests and activities, and recent publications.

An electronic mail network for efficient and cost-effective communication between our members, enabling them to share news, views, and information.
AFFINITY GROUPS
Interest groups structured around geography, thematic lines, or disciplines which allow members to pursue their specific Third Sector areas of interest.
ISTR REPORT
A series of occasional reports highlighting thematic and regional Third Sector issues.
